NEW TRAILS this year! Fun buggy rides on country roads, dirt trails in the beautiful back country and of coarse rides to the famous Oceano dunes Pismo beach are just a few of the fun things we have planned.

The communities of Gardnerville/Minden sit in the beautiful Carson Valley at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. This is hot air balloon country and we invite our Manx Club members to join us for the local hot air balloon festival, a show & shine and, of course, seeing old friends and meeting new ones! Tahoe is 20 minutes to the west, and the Pine Nuts - famous for bands of wild horses - is just a few minutes to the east. We hope you'll join us exploring the dirt & back roads of our new location in Northern Nevada! Our event will take place at DOUGLAS COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS. For those looking for extracurricular fun - the model airplane field and shooting range(s) are located approximately 1/4 from the fairgrounds.

| For those arriving THURSDAY - This hotel has weekday and weekend availability. We have 5 double queen, 5 king, 5 Queen suites, 5 King Suites ranging from $139 up. These rooms are available for booking November 1, 2023 to April 1, 2024. The hotel only has one phone line and one front desk agent, there are multiple ways to book.
The group block is bookable through the front desk, central reservations at 1-877-424-2449 with code MNX, and your guests can also email the front desk to make a reservation at fdm.hie@gmail.com.
As previously mentioned, please keep in mind that if the guest is not booking all three nights (the 16th , 17th , 18th of May) the code will not work. It will also not work if they are booking 4 nights, they would have to create a separate reservation for the additional night.

| DRY CAMPING for $25.00 per night for Thursday through Sunday. No reservation required - just let Connie know you will be dry camping at the fairgrounds and for how many days. Extra car trailer parking is at this location as part of our reservation with the fairgrounds, as neither hotel will allow trailer parking. |

Bigbear Lake Ca is a fantastic place to explore in a buggy. Whether you are interested in off-roading through the forest or meandering around the beautiful lake on a street run. This event has it all. In the past we have had up to 325+ buggies attend. This is an outdoor Manx Club official dune buggy event hosted in the parking area on the corner of Moonridge rd and Brownie Ln. Bigbear Ca. We hope to see you there!

Scenic back road and coastal drives are being planned and will include a popular harbor town or two on Thursday and Friday (5th & 6th). We will tour the awesome Factory Five headquarters on one of these days. A traditional Show and Shine with the award banquet will be held on Saturday (7th) and Sunday (8th) is departure day following breakfast.

Buggies in Barstow will be an off-road orientated event with some nice street runs sprinkled in. Currently we have several desert rides in the planning stages. Slash X is a destination ride which is a café in the desert where many off-roaders frequent. There will be facilities for camping available. Some of them will have hook ups, and some of them will be dry camp only. More to come on that.

The Spring Bloom Run around Clearlake and Mendocino National Forest is a new Manx Club event. The area has miles and miles of forest roads and trails. The spring colors will be out in the wine country and surrounding hills. The Trail roads will provide different levels of driver experience based on driver ability & some complete with a variety of water crossings.
We are at the northern tip of the California Napa Valley Wine country.

Manx up Mt Washington NH

Outstanding drives to the highest point east of the Mississippi.
Held in the beautiful state of New Hampshire.

A 3 day, long weekend event focused on driving with the main event being driving the Mt Washington auto road. The mount washington auto road is a 7.6 mile long road that climbs 4,000 feet to the top of Mt Washington, The highest peak east of the Missisisppi at 6,288 ft. The rest of the weekend will include beautiful drives in the white mountains of New Hampshire.

This unique event will be held in Mineral Wells, Texas, located just 80 miles West of Dallas. In the 1920s & 30s, people from all over the country flocked to Mineral Wells because of the healing minerals found in the water. That all changed due to more modern medicine & people stopped visiting this cool little town. Two beautiful hotels & spas were forced to close due to a lack of business. But the beautiful as well as historic buildings remained. There is much history that we would love to share with the Manx Club members.

The Yokohama NORRA Mexican 1000 – "The Happiest Race On Earth!", and the competitors run the gamut from offroad racing icons and current stars, to adventure seeking average Joes and well-travelled lovers of Baja. NORRA has classes for bikes, quads, UTV’s, and 4-wheel classes for everything from vintage vehicles to state-of-the-art race cars. There’s even the Safari Baja Expedition for those who want to participate, but not compete.
