I've noticed that one also. If it was around here and providing it is real. I would have it already. Little too far.

I am not sure it really but it looks good in the pictures. If it was closer I would have to make a weekend trip I think to see it closer.

I drove up there from Portland and bought it. The dude met us at the Mc Donalds in Bumphuque, Egypt and towed it there with a VW Micro Bus. I talked him down to $950. It is pretty hammered but I am still a happy camper. My wife collects shoes, I have a buggy problem..............I will have to go to a BA meeting in the morning after I get the road off me.

So I guess that means it is a Manx? I think we were all assuming it is. I don't believe he ever said it was for sure. Congratulations.

I am not sure about the fiberglass, I just bought it for the pan. I cut it in half with a sawzall and chucked it in the dumpster . Is that bad?

Type 4 cost $$$$$$$$$ to make a good solid running engine. I have beed pricing parts for mine. Good basic heads 875. Cheep cylenders 250 for 94mm.and the cost goes UP.

My friends have a wrecking yard, they collect VW busses for the transaxels. They all run Ford motors, so they send the VW motors to the crusher with the van. If it blows up , I will get another one. Sooner or later one will hold together and have enough compression to do wheelies in front of the police station. I took the beast to the car wash today to get the big chunks hosed off while it was still on the trailer. I found a fish in it....I hope that does not mean bad luck??????
