Post by manxfwin »

Anyone heard if the new Manx? is in production or on hold due to the economy?Last May I read that everything was a go except the name.

The "New Manx" is still very much on a green light. Bruce is putting the final touches on it and I beleive it is set for release some time next year. Having seen it first hand I am confident in saying they are very cool and worth the wait...

I have seen the prototype in October this year. Is the hood still going to have built in headlights, or bug eyes like a Manxter? Waiting in line like many others - Tom

The new "Kickout"

Post by towd-dude »

I spent 4hrs with Bruce Last Saturday (11-29) and was lucky enough to see the new "Kickout" it's official name. What a buggy. He has three hood designs; two with built in light assemblies one using Neon lights the other reminds me of Chevy truck lights (not sure). He?s not fond of these two designs because it is so difficult to replace the headlights. The third hood uses regular buggy buckets with recesses for them to sit in. All three hoods had a lowered center section (to better see the road he sez). It will have some awesome accessories, lockable rear turtle deck, side pods with cut outs similar to Tom and Kathleen's new Manxter to mount your oil cooler in, special dash, possibly two windshield styles. And a really cool spare tire recess in the rear seat area. Wider fenders and clearance to run big rims (in street trim). It has MANX written all over it? Bruce, what an artist. No price has been established yet but what ever it is it will be worth it?
