Stolen Corvair

Heard on UK radio today that a 67 year old guy (from NY i think) has just been reunited with his 68 Corvair which was stolen 37 years ago

Wow, can you believe that???? what a result

The guy said its worth ?10,000 today,,, could that be right guys??? seems too much ?? to me,,,, maybe,,,, we dont get many this side of the pond,, ive only seen one (in UK) in the last ten years.

Here's the way I heard it. The guy was in CA and it was his Corvette the cops brought back to him after all those years. Saw it on the TV a couple of weeks ago.

They said it was a 68 model Corvair,,, which had been painted silver and the fuel tank was missing when he got it back

Vette & Vair both GM,,, NY & CA both USA How close do you want the facts???

The "Vette wasn't that old either. From the pics it looked like a Gen 4 or 5.
