whats an old 2 seat buggy that runs worth it has to be worth at least 1000 no matter what kind of condition as long as the motor runs right????? we're thinking of getting a buggy again but a guy has a junky one that runs and we thought we might fix it up first to get a little refresher c ourse
If you`re looking for a buggy project, I would consider the condition of the body first, like major cracks and breaks. It`s alot easier to fix or replace the engine, than body repairs. I paid $200 for my buggy project that didn`t run, but the body was in excellent condition, except for being weathered, and needing paint. :2cents:
Consider this...my fiber body cost me $1,000 alone, The build is now over $3,500+ without engine or tranny, lights, guages, wheels/tires, paint.... If you just want a buggy to fix up and use without any worries in details, thats the one. If youre ike me: Started thinking that I just wanted a buggy and has become to be a detailed, show build, then build your own, but its gonna cost. Initialy I set a 2500 budget and expected to have a complete buggy without engine or tranny, now 3500+ later still dont have engine or tranny and a bunch of other stuff. Look out for rust, more time and $ will be spend on this than any other part of resto or build!
Thanks guys thats what i thought
you guys are a lot of help now how about favorite sites for all the stuff?
