What's the single best thing you've added?

What is the best single thing that you've added to your Buggy? I have a friend who insisted I add shift linkage to mine...He loved it in his Ghia, and thought himself a boyreace while driving it. I hated it What about Tires? a good loud sound system? a Chevy V8? A lift kit? Disc Brakes? What little thing you've added really leaves an impression on you?

A 4 into 1 exhaust. I used to run cannons but the 4 into 1 is much better.

Cragar S/S wheels! The car has a set of white stock wheels for the 60's look; 14" X 5.5" for the front and 15" X 8" for the rear. For obvious reasons, they lacked the Bling Factor. The car got some looks from the old timers, but when I kicked it up a notch and installed the Cragars, the younger crowd could not take their eyes off it. Something about chrome and circular objects must draw attention...bling and boobs I guess. Did I type that out loud? Yikes! John
