Big Bear Bash and Potluck

Post by 5150bossman »

OK! It's that time again! Time to start planning for the potluck :D . Any suggestions as far as theme or what dish to bring are welcomed. Just plan on bringing something to Holloway's RV Park (less than a half mile from Camp Tanda) on Saturday night about 5:30 or so. We shouldn't be too hard to find once you get inside :drinking: . Appetizer, entree or dessert are all welcome. Just remember, you only need to bring as much food as will serve the number of people in your group (if there are 2 of you then enough for 2 people, 4, then enough for 4, etc... and you only need to bring one - appetizer OR entree OR dessert). You are not trying to feed the entire group by yourself! This is a great time to gather and tell war stories, meet new people, get ideas on how to work on your buggy, and just B.S. in general (usually a crowd of 40 to 60 people attend!). EVERYONE is invited. And as always, looking forward to learning some NEW recipes. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

I'll be there, Thursday afternoon, "lookin' for Some Honey". I am planning on cooking tri-tip or carne asada, for the pot luck. That should fit most themes. Looking foward to seeing everyone. Jimbo :hello:

O.K., got ours and sent a check right back off. Now, who's going? Lurkers, now's your time to shout out so all your friends know if you are going or not. You can also let everyone know what you plan on bringing to the potluck (not that you need to stick with your first thought. Suprises are always welcome!) :D
