Dave, the guy says it has bubbling,,, if your planning on getting it painted & use it on your buggy,,,, give it a coat of black first,, mat or gloss,, then stand it out in the sun on a hot day,, if that bubbling is due to air between the gel & mat it will blow up in the heat,, every bubble will have to be popped & dug out with a screwdriver or something right down to the mat & filled. No big deal,, just a little tip,,, good price buddy,, you sure find some bargains. Why didn't you say you wanted one,,, sure I could have knocked up a mold on the quick for my ol buddy
Will be mailing you some pics over the weekend of the Veep project,, maybe you will put them on the ''Nelson & Mels other loves'' thread
Im lovin that little vehicle more & more each day,, its kinda bought the kid back in me again,,,, daughter even took me to the military vehicle show at Duxford (for fathers day) last Sunday.
daughter even took me to the military vehicle show at Duxford (for fathers day) last Sunday.
Not to get this thread off track even farther but I was stationed at Mildenhall 89-92, just a few miles up the A11 from Duxford. There was another magic place nearby you should see. It was on a huge estate near Saffron Walden, called Audley End. There was a small grass airfield and a couple hangars where they just worked on historic aircraft. The smaller hangar was where they rebuilt DeHavilland Chipmunks. In the bigger hangar there were literally a dozen disassembled former gate guardian Spitfires and Hurricanes awaiting restoration. The quality and scope of work they did in those little hangars to get the aircraft better than new was amazing. Actually the quality of work I saw in the UK on vintage motorcycles, cars and aircraft was almost always amazing.

Mildenhall is just 30 miles from my home,, often driven the buggy through there. Nelson, if your ever back in UK look me up :drinking:
Somebody selling a Manx on Craigslist with an opening hood. Doesn't say whether it has a tag, but its about 5 miles from Valley Center. http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/rvs/612033724.html
