Please help me identify this buggy

If it's plastic rather than glassfiber then I'd say it's 99% certain it's a Manx. I have heard that some Manx workers knocked out a few kits for themselves at weekends when the bosses weren't about...just a thought...

Why don't you give Manx Central a call and ask them if they know what the numbers on the body mean. Nothing better than info straight from the source.

I believe the numbers on the body are probably something to do with a state assigned vehicle ID number. Do you know if the buggy was ever in the state of Michigan (MICH)? Regardless, I'm absolutely convinced you have a genuine Meyers Manx

Just found the engine number "TO32xxxx" which means 1967 And I believe the dash is thin black plastic Thanks all. Sparky

Don't they call Ohio "Baja Michigan". Just kidding but it just appears very likely that your Manx got an assigned vehicle ID number in Michigan. I know in California when you build a buggy now and go to register it, you are given a new DMV assigned vehicle ID number which starts CA for California. Your body was probably made in 1967. That's the year when the most were made that didn't have tags attached. The assigned number may have been put on your buggy in 67, which matches 67 in the number on the body and also the year the body was probably made. Or it could refer to the year of your engine. In California, the year of your engine determines which smog standards apply and it goes on your title as the year first sold. I'm not sure what the DMV does in Michigan but if you were really curious about the number on the car, you could probably check. However, since you live in Ohio, it probably doesn't matter much. Did you get a Title with the Manx? What does it say?
