Velocity Stacks

Post by jr_vw2 »

Is anyone running velocity stacks on their street cars?? Would it be ok if you ran them on the street and maybe put some of those boots on them to keep the big stuff out. I know it owuld be best to run air filters, but my buggy will never see sandy conditions or anything like that, it is going to be a street buggy. thanks

what size ? they do have filters for the tall stacks as well as the stock kind. I don't know about any slip over set up , but i would not run it with out a filter.

If you are going to be running dual carbs, you would be asking for trouble. The rear tires would probably throw something nasty into one of the carbs in short order.

seems like you could run them inside an air box or plenum to an air box?????????????????? Until you suck in a bird.

These filters let you run 6 inch stacks inside them. http://www.cbperformance.com/catalog.asp?ProductID=556
