Corvette replica with 72 vw/914 engine

Got this about a year ago and it popped out on me. Planning on putting a smaller 914 VW engine from 74 in it. The one I have I think comes from a 72 vanagon. Cumbersome.
My question, has anyone seen this body? And have info for ordering anything for it. The guy who had it before me definitely fixed it up on his own but used every little spare piece of whatever in his great granddads barn to do so. Any help would be appreciated
