Well, have you checked out the
Mid-South VW's, "7th Annual VW's Over Memphis", Oct 8 ? Let's see... Hotlanta to the King's place, just a short drive, right? Hey you could take a few peanutbutter and 'naner sandwiches with you. Sorry, that's all I could find for you.

David, Don't know what dates you are going to be here or how far you are willing to travel. Check out
Southeast Shows maybe it will help. Good Luck

Thanks Allen and Chuck; I'll be there from this Tues. (4th) for a week but will be going down to Pensacola for a couple of days and I know some places around there so no worries. I've emailed all the local VW clubs in Atlanta I could find but no replies.

Hope that you got my PM about the body manufacturer in the Atlanta area. I finally found their website address again.

Didn't get the PM; don't usually think to check them anyway though. May look them up if I get a chance but some of their kits are the Goddamn ugliest things I've seen in a dog's age!!! And they seem to do a 100% Manx rip-off too (called a Max!!! inventive eh???) I got some more hood beading Jim, I'll send it off to your PO Box on Monday as it's not too heavy. Hope it's OK. Thanks for thinking of me.

Too much drink, repeating myself again Dave

. Thought you may have changed the venue to Baja, only one month away. :drinking: Buggy Pete finally has a Sidewinder (a painter), we did a swap last week with an old sand rail, but I bet Pete has sold the kit already

Saw Pete's Sidewinder last week. Catching up with some relations etc in the 'South' in Atlanta and Florida. Baja or Big Bear next year maybe?
