That is the intention, we have to trust people though as we have no way to verify membership through the hotel reservation desk.

**Tour of Vandenberg SFB run**
A tour of Vandenberg is a buggy cruise that can accommodate 30 people per run,(we can add a 2nd run on Friday if there’s enough interest) You will get to tour to see the awesome scenery and launch sites located on the Vandenberg base, along the California coast, maybe even catch a glimpse of a SpaceX vehicle. This run is all street, if there is a light off road option available participants will be asked in advance. *As this run is on a secure US government site anyone wishing to participate must undergo a security background check for security concerns such as warrants, expired drivers licenses and any previous criminal activity. The information needed for this background check;
1.Last Name, First Name, middle initial
2.Date of birth mm/dd/yyyy
3.State of Drivers license
4.Drivers license number
5.Sex M/F
6.Contact phone number
Please submit info to gotfraindm@gmail.com by February 17th
**We will not be able to accommodate civilians that do not get pre-approved via the back ground check. Former military with base access may be granted access but need to arrive early to get signed in.
The run leader for this is manx club member Mark Gotfraind #4537, he works on Vandenberg SFB and has done this run before with others.
Thank You Mark for providing our members with this opportunity.

****UPDATE****
I inquired with Mark Gotfraind about the option to do this run Friday & Saturday, Time required and start time;
*1. Yes—2 days is fine. Depending on numbers, I may decide one day with a larger group. I’ll wait for the final responses-Please advise Mark of your choice of days for the tour(based on 1st come 1st served basis)
*2. Length depends on when we get started. We can keep going until sunset—up to the group
*3. I know that it’s probably an hour from Pismo to base if they take the backroads. Whenever people want to leave Pismo. I’d say meet at Vandenberg at 900. Also, recommend everyone packs a lunch.

I know some of you are asking about an event itinerary, I'm still trying to lock down a couple more things(Friday night activity, food vendor for Saturday) and hope to have answers soon. Another issue that has surfaced is with the off road trails we hope to explore, the recent storms in the area have caused them to be closed at this time, we hope they will be opened in time for the event.

Is there any room for 3 adults on the Vandenberg tour? Can we get clearance still?
Please let me know ASAP.

Gary,
The clearance info was needed by February 17th and last I heard the run was very popular and had a lot of requests for the run leader to process through.
