A few weeks ago I was reading an old thread about someone who had insured their Manx with Farmers Insurance and submitted photos, build specs, and an appraisal with their application. But when they asked to see their underwriting file a few years later Farmers did not have any of their original documents.

A similar thing happened to me.

I know it was an old thread, but:

- Did that happen to someone still active on the board?

- Can anyone point me in the direction of that thread?

I've been using search for a couple of hours, and no luck finding it again.

I have Farmers for my Manxvair, originally insured in CA and then transferred the policy to AZ. I have my original declarations page from 1999. I also have the pictures I submitted then. I don't think that was my thread as I don't remeber ever asking to see the underwriting files.
