Since my projects are caught up for a bit I went back and took a look at my Teardrop trailer I have always wanted to tow it to buggy run But then I keep thinking, is towing a trailer with a buggy what Bruce had in mind or is just something cool to do? I keep thin king that the buggy had the same concept as the motorcycle and to just load the bare essentials like a toothbrush and go Is it in keeping with the free spirit concept of a buggy? One of the things I like about the teardrop trailers is the simplicity of their design. Towing one behind a buggy is, in my opinion, a neat idea and I hazzard a guess that Bruce would think the same. Problem is that I suspect that without a proper setup you'd have a cart pushing the horse scenario. There isn't a lot of weight in the front of the car and adding tongue weight to the rear will make the buggy handle poorly. I also wonder at the towing capacity of a buggy. It isn't much I'm sure. Gadget on the other hand isn't a typical buggy. Towing capaciy of a Bug is only 882lbs max and 55lbs to 90 lbs toung weight. (source owners manual)

My son, Tony picked this one up and if a buggy run was to be made where RV's couldn't venture, then this can carry all the camping gear to get to where you want to go. I wouldn't want to pull it on a daily run. Just to a camp area from which to explore from. Image
