Jimmy Buffett tickets...

Jimmy Buffett is quite popular in the US I gather but he's not at all well know and hence seldom comes to Europe. I've been a fan for years now but had just about given up on the chance of ever seeing him live when I heard of a couple of low-key gigs in Paris in September. I booked tickets on-line but didn't hold my breath as Brits and the French don't really get on but hey!!! They came in the mail today, and I've sorted out flights and the hotel too!!! I know an imtimate 300 seat jazz club won't have the same atmosphere as Madison Square Garden or Wrigley Field but it'll have to do... Roll on 20th September!!!

I have seen Jimmy Buffet several times and I am sure he will be just as enjoyable in a somewhat intimate setting as he is in a stadium. Congratulations and enjoy.

The small venues are the BEST places to see someone. So much more intimate, and the entertainers usually feel a bit more at ease with a small crowd. They get a bit more personal, and your chance to actually meet them is greatly increased.

We go and see his concerts whenever he is in the nearby area, a small venue would be awesome, here when you show up everyone is usually dressed up in Island attire, margaritas and blenders are everywhere in the parking lots and its always a very festive and fun filled event. Have a BLAST !!

I think what Dennis is trying to say is "Wear an 'Island' shirt and bring a blender." I second the small venue. I recently went to a show at the Filmore in San Francisco. Awesome venue. btw... Sirius Radio ch. 31 Margaritaville is awesome!

We can't get satalite radio in the UK but I always listen to http://www.radiomargaritaville.com when I'm on line. Still not sure what to wear, I've got loads of Hawiian shirts but none with dune buggies on... Maybe my Beach Boys one...
