After thirty years in a barn this Manx Utility is once again out on the road (thanks to E-Bay) . It sits on '61 pan complete with Corvair running gear. A call to Bruce and Winnie and a their consult with Jim Guthrey, labeled this discovery "authentic". (made from the original mold) We're looking in to the history and have found some interesting info, we'll see where it leads us ... Anyway here are some photos ... Mark & Carol Image Image Image

manxdavid... I feel fortunate to have acquired this piece of buggy history. I need to thank you and this forum for the E-Bay link. I have visited Jim Guthrey's Buggy collection a few times and his Manx Utilities have always caught my attention. Corvair power for a Manx has always been questionable for me, now that we've added one to our garage I can even wonder more. We've run a bit with Rudy and admired what he can do. I guess the "old dog > new tricks" syndrome could apply here ? Image
