RUN to your nearby dealership and ask them for your free copy of the 2008 Touareg2 DVD. (Volkswagen now gives you a DVD for each model instead of a sales brochure.) The DVD contains "The Road to Baja" and has a couple of segments where Bruce talks on camera about his first run to La Paz, as well as vintage racing footage and early footage of Manxs' running around. It's nice to see VW talk about it's offroad heritage. But, the very best part is that VW finally gives Bruce credit for the Baja 1000. Congratulations Bruce! Image

Thanks for taking care of the guys on the other side of the pond, Allen . . . I was too slow to respond. If you can't find the DVD, let me know and I'll get a couple more to ship out to Mel and Dave. Scott

Mission Accomplished! Our local VW dealership had them. I just got a chance to watch it. Very nice photography. It's certainly a promotional piece. Not too long.

I got my DVD today; thanks for the heads-up! The documentary itself is about 8 minutes long and only the last 3 minutes promote the Touareg. I've ripped it into an ISO file (500MB) that you can burn to DVD yourself and I'll be glad to try to email it to those unable to get the DVD.
