a vacation isn't really a vacation until you've got 2 weeks off! wow, i discovered that last year and it was just as great this year. 17 days - woohoo! got a new place to stay, much farther south. much farther from the noise and traffic. 100yards to the beach , so thats where most of the time was spent. got out on the beach with the buggy a couple of times. went down to hatteras and found a place that rents buggys. f/g and rails. went an talked to the owner at his house/garage. he was very nice and he had buggys and bodies all over the place. a towd, an early manx, lots of clones, a race setup buggy, bajas (incluiding one with a caddy 500ci in it!), a singlecab, barn door and a 21 window! sweet! met up with mark from raleigh (from samba)at the sonic in nags head. he drove all the way up from carolina beach where he was vacationing (300miles). unfortunately it was just the two of us. saw two other buggys down there over the two weeks. anyway, here's some pics/vids. sonic: buggy stuff: [url=http://]http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v444/ ... e%20buggy/[/url] bodie lighthouse drive: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v444/ ... 4e84ff.flv mark at sonic: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v444/ ... e3762d.flv assorted vac pics: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v444/ ...
