Very nice! Just curious, what's the picture of the landing, look like? How did it feel?

Here is a link to pictures of the build of his orange Manxter that Jon posted last year, if that's what you meant. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/gotmanxjon/my_photos

I have looked at the pictures MULTIPLE times. Love your car! Interested in the Motor and tranny specs, shock setup, etc. Here is a pic of my Original Manx. A long way to go to be up to par with yours! I am running STU 1300 Plus paddles on mine, what are you running?

Your buggy looks good. Before I had the Manxter, I would always run my Classic Manx in the dune with the paddles. Lots of fun! The Manxter has a Vanagon 5-speed with a 4.86 R&P. The engine is a 2332cc with fuel injection. The front suspension is a stock width beam with 2 1/2" longer, 4" wider trailing arms and 8" Fox 2.0 coilover shocks. The rear suspension uses an aftermarket torsion housing with adjusters, 3x3 microstub trailing arms and 12" Fox 2.5 shocks. For the sand, I have STU 1300's with #2 paddle for the rear and STU 6.75 smoothies up front.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. I take it you are pretty happy with that setup? With the 4.88 rp I would imagine you can pull a big dune in 2nd gear?

The car works out well and I cruise the dunes in 2nd and 3rd.
