some new old buggy ads

Post by 90volts »

for anyone interested in old buggy ads i took some shots out of a couple of mags i've had sitting around. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v444/ ... buggy/Ads/ and has anyone ever seen or used one of these snow kits? amazing! Image and to round it out , as my boys were watching the fairly oddparents on nick yesterday buggys featured prominently on one of the episodes so i took some pics. they're showing up everywhere. definitley a resurgence going on. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v444/ ... 20culture/

That is pretty cool, I like reading the price lists. I wonder how they would look adjusted for inflation? What was minimum wage back then 40 cents an hour?

Dave Barret who builds frames for glass buggies has one of the Humbugs. It was the factory race car and still has all the NORRA dash plaques from the early Baja races. Image

I always liked the Humbug. I used to know the guys who built it under license in Britain as the Beaujangle Can-Am. Nice cars!!!
