bug window rubber

Not buggy related, but thought someone might have experience with this. Wanting to order window and door rubber for my sons 71 bug, and find a huge price difference between brazilian, or mexican v.s. german, or homegrown stuff like west coast metrics offer. Anyone have any experience with how this stuff lasts? Fits? Thanks.

Go with the German rubber, it installs easier, fits better, seals better and lasts longer. I have found that anything made in the aftermarket for a VW is a compromise and usually not worth the time or money to install.
