Weber numbers

What do the numbers on the side of weber idf carbs mean? such as 44 idf 50 3g Is this important for anything??? thanks guys

44 is the bore and or size of the throttle plate I believe/

I believe I read somewhere that the "50" is the factory accelerator pump squirter jet size. But I'm not sure if that is actually a fact.
