hello,can you guys help me to choose right engine. i dont knowe nothing about engines:( but what i want is a good fast relaible engine 1914 or 2110 i see a lot people use this.i want it for mine street buggy i want to be the fist from stopsign to stop sign but also drive on the freeway and drive it up sometimes to 65 /70 mh:D i want not a stressed engine also driveble and relaible . what combo do you advice ,i want everything new ,double carbs porsche fanshroud,ill hope you knowe what i mean my english is not verry good:eek: thanks a lot,mike

the 3 best engines are 1914 or 2165 and 2275. all use the 94mm piston. much better than 92mm. the 94 is thicker But we all have our opinions. How much do you want to spend? I would think about that and go to a big builder . I know a guy who has a 1914 an it screams. 2500.00 and a 2275 would be 3 to 4 thousand turn key. here is a great builder. A fully balanced 1914 with a Web cam 86B cam, 1.5:1 rockers, good quality big valve ported heads, 8.5:1 compression and a pair of 44IDF's. Properly tuned will beat just about anything across the intersection get 27mpg on the highway dependably.

ya i will be building a 1914 for my bug. funny years ago i was told the 1914 was a bad engine and the 1835 was better... wrong. I forgot to bring up the 2332.. big boy toy. any one here have one?

I am in the process of building a 2919cc engine for my Siggy Manx. I'm shooting for a nice dependable 300 to 350 turbocharged/fuel injected HP. :driving:
