Is the VW a dieing breed???

Post by jr_vw2 »

I have been seeing less and less VW items around my local stores lately. I cant even get a HOT VW's at wal-mart anymore. Seems like I used to be able to find stuff like that at the gas station once upon a time. I now have to travel to the local book store to find a copy and even then it is always a month behind. Are Air cooled V-Dubs on the way out? or am I just out in the sticks and its just dead here. Im sure everyone out is Cali doesnt have this problem. Is anyone else noticing this or is it just in my neck of the woods? (Chattanooga, TN)

I've noticed that my local 'Wally World" (in North Carolina) has stopped carrying them too. Glad to know someone else has this problem as well.

I had to order it (VW Mag) from online. I could not find it anywhere not even at the local book store. Seems around here we ony have a few VW's I have seen. I have yet to see another Buggy.
