I was fortunate to be able to stretch the legs on the buggy this past Memorial Day Weekend. If you're current on my buggy condition you know that I've been dealing with the consequences of letting the buggy sit for an extended period of time. The thought had occurred to me that I might have some trouble if I took it out. and drove it a bit. However, I couldn't pass up the chance at some time behind the wheel in the sunshine.
Last Saturday, my oldest son and I took to the road to meet up with some friends and then on to a nice little drive through the foothills. Sunday meant Bugorama so I gathered up my younger son and again hit the road to meet up with fellow Manx Club members and enthusiasts. Just before noon we headed up the hill to Placerville and met up with family for the rest of the afternoon. When I finally turned into my driveway Sunday evening I had put on a total of 325 miles for the weekend.
That's 325 miles of trouble free smiles. Love this little car.

Tom, it was a fun weekend. That hwy 49 run is always a favorite with the exception of Murphy Zoo. The O-Rama scene provided a day full of entertainment.

Memorial Day Weekend fun
I know the feeling Tom! We've been driving Xena for a hair over 10 years/67,000 miles & they've been trouble-free & full of great memories & millions of smiles!
