My number is up!! Could be a Signature/Classic Manx for sal

Yeah, I still having issues with splitting them up. It isn't definite, but it makes sense. I keep gathering stuff thinking that I'll have plenty to work on when I retire, but that isn't anytime soon and knowing that every project is $10-15,000 or more on top of what I already have invested. My Manx ...

My number is up!! Could be a Signature/Classic Manx for sal

Well I received my email from Winnie that my number, 26, is up and they are going to build my Kick-Out.  We've got to finalize the details but it will be an SS with side pods, rear cover and still working on the color. My delimma here is that I have to many projects.  I still have Siggy Manx #26 and...

Meyers Manx Kick-Out

Ok Joseph you scared me with that one.  I've had a deposit on #26 and hadn't given Winnie any final decisions so I was hoping that my number wasn't being built.  What they have in the shop is #23, so I am getting close.  I think the economy has people a little nervous.

Have you considered the wraps that they are using now? We have one on one of our mechanics trucks and our local Police dept. uses it for their D.A.R.E. car. It might be a somewhat less permanent solution to your needs. Good luck.

C.B. required @ Calico?

Its been a few years since I've been on a club run, are C.B.s still required? I know that the rain fairys ate my last one and might need to go shopping. Thanks and see all there. Jay

Chris, I've got mine with State Farm. On my Manx, its a stated value and I had to take the car down so that they could take pictures. The only restrictions are that they don't want it to be a daily driver but I don't believe there are any limits on mileage. This is Full Coverage, towing, comp, colli...

Big Bear Room Available

I just had to cancel my reservations at the Big Bear Lakefront Lodge. This was a lakeview room with 2 beds. I don't know if they have a waiting list but there phone # is (909)866-8271. This happened in the last 10 minutes and I spoke with Daniel. The rooms were for July 6 and 7. Unfortunately, start...

I remember them and thinking it was a great idea!!!! Seems like I asked Winnie about them a while back and she told me that they were produced by someone else and the Manx club just sold them. Sounds like if Bruce gets around to a new short Manx/Manxter that it would have an opening hood. This could...

Jon, Thanks for the link. I had never looked thru your photos much but there is a bunch of great ideas there. I look at your stuff, then I reel myself back to reality. It's now in my favorites and I will visit it frequently. Jay

Tom, It is the center adjuster that I am installing. I'm trying to put my car together as a dual-sport type, not quite to the extreme as Jon's orange Manxter, but along those lines. I do want to be able to fine tune, without taking the torsions apart every time. I would appreciate it if you could em...

Sway-a-Way rear torsion adjuster

I'm getting ready to install the Sway-a-Way rear torsion adjuster in the pan for my Manxter project, and I used to have a link that showed the install. I thought it was BlindChickenRacing, but I'm not finding it on their site. Anybody have any ideas? I did a google search and came up empty. Any help...

Jon, Does this mean you're going to lower your car and buy a surfboard? Yeah I know, you live in California, you already have the surfboard. Jay

Mark, I've liked those wheels since they first came out. They have kind of a classic look, but with modern technology. I thought that the MT mini-mag, 27" height with maybe the Baja Pro, 33/9.00-15, 33" height, would give a good Big-N-Little look. I'm running 31" on the back of my Man...

Those that didn't receive, give Winnie a call. I hadn't received mine in Colorado, so I called Winnie and she apparently had some computer problem. She got it to me within a few days. Jay

Doran, I'm thinking the first step is to bolt on all of the "thing" front and rear suspension, knowing that adjusters will be installed and it will adjust up. Then I'll put different size spacers, 1 1/2"-2"-3", between the body and pan, to check headroom, tire clearance, etc...
