Our buggy came with 2 different types of painted steel wheels. I'd like to match either the front or back with what would be closer to "period correct" if possible. With all of the knowledge on this board hopefully I can get brand, model, and availability info. Also, is there a chrome cap or other piece missing from the rears?
Thanks in advance for the assistance.

Re: What brand wheels are these?
The rears are Appliance/Pacer Silverstreaks, and were often chrome. Yours may have been chrome at one time or always painted steel. They were very popular with many kit suppliers and were a common alternative to widening the stock wide 5 stock wheels. Center caps were held on with small set screws, and are often seen in the classified on the Samba.
The fronts are Jackman VW Stars, or a copy of them. These gained popularity a bit later, but are still close enough to be period-correct for your buggy.
Here's an article on vintage VW wheels that provides some detail.
