CRUISIN NIGHTS - CRUISIN AFTERNOON

I've noticed lately in the Massachusetts New England area free cruising nights have become 3 pm start : whether official or not. The location is full by 5 pm or official open time. The cruising ends at 7:30 pm. So after you get out of work you can't get in or you are arriving about 7 pm which didn't matter years ago as these events actually went into the night until 10 pm, the night ends 30 minutes later. At smaller cruising nights crowds draw drivers with cars only. Is it just this area? Is the collector car free cruising night event fading? What's happening in your area?
