Bob, I have a friend who wants to come by and admire the buggies. Do you have a scheduled start time for the show and shine and is it going to be at the KOA?

Show and shine will be Saturday morning 8am-1000am at the KOA campground in the back overflow area. There will be signs out on the road to direct traffic back there.

Looks like there is around 75 buggies here tonight including many Burro buggies too. Andrew, Mick, and Nelly are here too sharing their buggy and VW stories from Australia. 6 buggies went on a prerun today out through the hills above Calico and came down the canyon we went through last year. Parts of the trail had to be rebuilt to get down it. Gene was very happy has he was able to use his winch to pull a high centered buggy off a rock. Should be fun for the those who want to test to limits of their buggies. Weather was great today and looks to be good with maybe a shower Saturday evening. For those that have not been there yet, Peggy Sue's Diner is a great place to eat.

Weather is great today with mild temp and a very high cloud cover. Mother Nature's very own silk. Great for pictures (no shadows).

Had a great day. Followed John (a local from Barstow area) with around 30 other buggies for the day. (sorry no pictures, I was driving, lots of other taking pictures) John lead out to the west and north of Calico. Lots of bueatiful country. Weather was great, no break downs only one dead battery when we got back to the pavement. Gene was follow car for the day in Gadget. Austrialian guys had a great time with all of us.

Well after spending far to long trying to post pictures to this web site, I give up. In this day and age with new technology happening so fast why is this site so outdated? Someone needs to step up to the plate and fix it or change to some other host so it is simpler to use. If there is internal bickering behind the scene, wise up and get off your arse if you want this site to grow.
