What's up with this website?
Bud is right. The fact that the board became available for 'members only' is part of the reason for the lack of participation. I was against making it that way, but we, the members had no say in the matter. I think THAT was the main reason for the rate of attrition. A major decision was made, the majority of the club members were not involved, people got offended. We lost a lot of very knowledgeable people from this site, but you can still find them online if you search around a little. I have remained a current MC member, as have most of my buggy friends. We recognize the value of having Bruce available, and we cherish the time we get to spend with him. None of us could come close to leading a life as interesting as his. The Manx Club remains an important part of the dune buggy culture. Maybe the 'new management' will open the forum up to all for free again. I think it would be good for business!
