Top Engine Builders?

Post by Scott-Drolet »

Time to get a new engine. Something in the 2 liter range or maybe slightly smaller. I've always had great service from Russ at Old Speed . . .But, thought I'd be open minded this time around as I've heard good things about other builders (Bergmann, VW Paradise, etc.). So, just thought I'd ask: If you were buying a turnkey . .who would you use? Thanks!

FAT Performance in Orange, CA builds very high quality VW engines. They build most of the engines that win in off road racing. They build the engines for the Baja Challange buggies. The are not the cheap. Dependability and reliability does have a price.
