What area are you out of and how far are you willing to go for one? Have you tried looking on The Samba classifieds?

I am in New Jersey right now but the Manx will be moved to Gulf Coast Florida this summer. I have been checking Samba & Craig's list but nothing so far. Don't mind a project but want good bones to start. I like original gel coat body even if its tired. For the right Manx or Manx 2 distance not an issue. email: gary@metroquip.com

I don't make it a habit to refer people away from the Manx Club forum but in the spirit of trying to help you find the right buggy, have a look at this Facebook group. It was set up to advertise dune buggy "stuff" and there are a few people in that group that have made it their mission to post every buggy and part for sale across the US. If there's a Manx for sale, it will be listed on here. Good luck with your hunt.

I was crazy when I did my search. I had a Manx keyword search on Samba that I would refresh every few hours on my phone (for a few years) until I found what I needed (tagged YYellow '69).

There is a '68 YY back on BAT again. http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1968-meyers-manx/

I also used searchtempest.com to do a regional search of Craigslist when I was searching hard as I would have gone a long way to get what I needed.

It seems like generally vintage specialty has continued to go up. I've also got a '69 Early Bronco and those prices have continued to be silly so "finding a deal" on anything desirable continues to be nearly impossible.

Best of luck in your search
