Post by andygere »

This buggy is turn-key and ready to enjoy. It's powered by a a reliable 1600 dual port with a recently rebuilt 34 PICT 3 carb, that starts instantly and runs strong and smooth. The 4-speed shifts smoothly with a Scat Drag Fast shifter, and the exhaust is handled by a pair of ceramic coated dual canon headers.

The Manx-style body has custom side pods and a custom hinged engine cover. The interior has full custom carpet and modified late model Mustang bucket seats upholstered in black tweed cloth and vinyl, with green piping to match the paint. The back seat is covered in matching black vinyl with green piping. Lap belts are installed front and rear. The easily removable T-top style hard top is covered in tan vinyl with a black headliner.

The 1972 BJ/IRS pan is clean and solid, and suspension and steering are tight, clean and work correctly. The roll bar, front bumper and rear cage are powder coated in dark silver-gray wrinkle finish.

The wheels are American Racing Torq Thrust IIs in bright PVD finish, 15x8 rear and 15x6 front. The tires are BF Goodrich T/A Radials 275 60 R 15 rear and 205 60 R 15 front. The wheels and tires have less than 300 miles on them.

The brakes have all new shoes, springs, wheel cylinders and flexible brake lines. The rear drums are new, and are drilled and studded in the 5 x 4.75 Chevy pattern. The front drums run alloy wheel adapters.

Lights, horn and wiper motor all work correctly, and turn signals are LED, as are accent tail lights. Rear '40 Ford repro tail lights are molded into the body, and have glass lenses. Instruments include matching tach, speedo, fuel gauge and oil pressure gauge. Under dash dual USB and 12 V lighter sockets charge your phone and power your electronics. Fuse panel is hinged and folds down from under dash for easy access.

The buggy has a clean California Special Construction (SPCNS) title, is currently registered and never needs smog. It turns heads and brings smiles, and is ready to enjoy. Cash only, call Andy at 408-206-9639 for more details, please leave a message with your name and a call back number.
