Home made Rugged Radio mount for Manx

Post by jhkinca »

I wanted our radio/intercom to be easy to service and remove if needed. I used the standard Rugged Radios face plate then made a mount that U-Bolts directly to the stock dash support. ImageImageImageImage

Thanks Mike, once the volume was adjusted properly  the system and mount worked flawlessly during its most recent "1000 mile" trip. We couldn't be happier with Rugged Radios and their top quality products.

Could you kindly post a photo of the dash area, showing the radio etc.? My attempts (using a construction type semi-waterproof radio) have been somewhat less than successful. Thanks, Doug
