I installed the CB Performance Sand System on my buggy which is primarily used in the dirt. I am pleased with the results. Getting the filters above the body and away from the wheels made a huge difference. See the link below for a description and pictures.

On our single weber 40 located under the rear deck, we have had very good luck with using an oiled gauze filter, covered by an Outerwear, and finally covered by a foam cover oiled only on the inside. By the end of a typical off-road weekend, there is very little dirt on the inside oiled gauze filter and the motor still breaths nicely.
