HF Soda Blaster

Post by louisb »

Picked up a HF 15 lb soda blaster today and have to say I was pretty impressed with the results. I used it to strip the bottom of the Manx II of all the grime and paint and it worked really well. I used up 1 50 lbs bag of the XL baking soda they sell and was able to strip most of the bottom of the buggy. It even worked well with my little 5 hp crapsman compressor. It didn't look like it would strip rust all that well but for general cleaning and paint removal it worked pretty well.

cost was $99 for the blaster and $35 for the bad of media.

That's pretty cool. I was going to start looking for one of those. Did you use it on your fiberglass or just your metal parts?
