Are they selling them through the Manx Store (discount?)? Are different sizes available (like 14s)? Are they available in the VW 4-lug pattern?

I'm pretty sure that you can tell me more about them. So, does anyone else know anything?? Just wondering...

I offered Winnie to post these new wheels on this site, The Samba & Dune Buggy Archieves, but she said to wait because there was a problem with the center caps.  So they are not offically for sale yet.  If they get enough orders, they will be available in 4 lug, I was told.

I saw the prototypes at the birthday party.  They are a 2 piece wheel, but not in the normal sense.  There is a back half which has the back side of the center that is used for both width wheels with @ 4" backspacing, and 2 different front halfs which determine the final width and have the center with the signature.  The forged halfs are welded togther where a normal 2 (or 3) piece wheel would be sealed for leaks inside the tire and the lug nuts hold the center of the halfs. They were very light and well made.  Tom
