Any ideas where I can get 6" and 8" wide steel 15" 5 lug smoothie wheels? All I seem to find are 4.5" and 5.5".

We don't know where to find it ... Why don't you search this information online? I hope you'll be able to get something suitable.

Finding widened smoothies (6", 8" or 10") can be a bit tricky. if you want old originals then searching local Craigslist, Letgo, Facebook, and other selling aps is the only way to go. If you want new, try Smitty Smoothies on the Samba. They are not exactly like the originals but will do for most people. Good luck with the search.
