There are exactly 4 more days left to get your registration sent in for this event. The deadline for registration submissions is September 30, 2012. Please do NOT send in your registration after the deadline at risk of it not getting to me before I leave for the event.  If you miss the deadline, you will still be able to register at the event.  However, you may not be able to buy a dinner ticket for Saturday night.  Please go to: www.manxonthebanx.com to register.

There are exactly 2 more days left to get your registration sent in for this event. The deadline for registration submissions is September 30, 2012.

If you plan to attend the Manx On The Banx we ask that you send in your registration prior to the deadline so that there is an accurate headcount for the BBQ On The Beach food order.

If for some reason you miss the registration deadline you will be able to register at the event (please do NOT send your registration in after September 30th at the risk of your registration not being received in time). If you register at the event you may not be able to purchase a ticket for food at the BBQ on the Beach. However, you can bring your own food to the bon fire on the beach.

Today I got the 41st PAID registration form (that's 87 people paid/confirmed) in hand. I am aware of a few more coming in (cough... Vince .... cough Image One week from tomorrow I'll be on the road to the OBX!!!

For those that attended the MOTB 2012 event, please take a few minute to complete a brief survey based on your experience.  Your feedback will be used in the planning of the MOTB 2013 event.

Also, the winners of the Show-n-Shine competition are posted on the site.

Here are some of our MOTB pictures.  Great time, Thanks Vince & Bud & Sue!  Tom & Kathleen

All the buggies that were there on the 1st day from the top of Hatteras Lighthouse.  1/2 of the buggies spent the whole week doing the activites.

The buggies lined up in front ot the lighthouse with some threatening weather nearby.

The buggies on Vince's lawn for the fiberglass demo.  One of the neigbors looked concered, so I told her not to worry, Vince was only trying to start a used "Buggy" car lot.  LOL

The Saturday beach run.

Even Bruce went on the Beach run.  Great therapy!

Fool around on the beach, which is really a public road, and get a visit from "the man".

Awesome weather.  Yea right!!!  The first 3 days it was rain & wind.  The price that is paid for the east coast with a stationary low over Georgia.

We did get 3+ days of sun & good weather.  Had a blast, & can't wait for next year. Already making plans.

Come on Joe, that was North Carolina liquid sunshine Image   Truth be told, the group that traveled together never really got rained on (a little drizzle, mist, and fog).  Seems the folks that decided not to go on the runs (because of the threat of rain) got soaked Image  I forgot to include a line item in my spreadsheet for bright sunny days Mon - Sun.  Next year.....

In case you haven't been to the website in a few days, there are a lot more pictures of the event posted under the 2012 gallery. You might actually see a few familiar faces :-)   www.manxonthebanx.com If you haven't had the opportunity to fill out an event survey (and you attended the MOTB 2012), please take a few minutes to complete one.
