From the Folks who bring you Manx At The Glen,
It is with sadness that we announce Manx at the Glen, July 23-26, 2020, is being canceled. While we are all anxious to get together, we must also abide by New York State and local restrictions in this Covid time, and try to keep everyone safe. We do not want to jeopardize the Club’s status insurance-wise or as a non-profit, and at this time, we cannot gather.
The host hotel is basically open for rooms only, with all public areas at the hotel closed. Chairs and couches have been removed, and they are providing some sort of a to-go breakfast. Governor Cuomo is making updates every two weeks, but we are not optimistic that the hotel will have public space, even in July. They will provide FULL cancellation refunds with no penalties. The downtown, the Gaffer District, has canceled all events through October, as they continue to assess whether or not they can hold their annual Christmas events. And Watkins Glen International is still closed at this time.
Please remember if you have made lodging arrangements, it is up to you to make any necessary changes.
We hear the Outer Banks is booming, so hopefully, Manx on the Banx 2020 will be a go and we’ll see everyone there!
