Juan, that is an awesome detailed beakdown excited to see/hear from you.

It sounds like the Manx group will be quite large which is awesome.

Good to hear from you Juan. Sounds like you have a very solid car and great Baja experience, it will be fun to race with you.

It would be nice to all be together at tech/contingency.

You guys are killing me and REALLY making me want to get this thing done in time!

I'm sure we could coordinate to get us all together at Contingency. The neatest would be to be next to the other Vintage Bronco's to have a legitmate line up of "Pioneer" style vehicles.

Here are some pictures of #1100. some of them are from when the car was built in 2014 and some of them are recent.

the car has more than 5,000 miles of pre-running in Baja, have done several upgrades from when it was built.

we have to get together in contingency / tech, and why not have a TACO party with the manx guys?

Are you all staying at Horsepower Ranch again?

where are you staying everywhere else down the peninsula.

I made my hotel reservations with Juan Carlos (baja voyager)

Let me know when you are coming in and lets plan for a Taco Party. who's in?

You're making me hungry. Winnie is setting up our reservations for my team, Mark's team (Subi-Toad) and Mike's team (New Baja Manxter) through Juan Carlos also, so we should be at all of the same places. And we are at Horsepower Ranch while we are in Ensenada.

There is a guy on here and theSamba...joescoolcustoms...on theSamba I had noticed and thought his tag lines were funny and true about "painted with a live chicken...buffed with a pine cone".... and "many wallets go dry before a project finishes".....I am unfortunately becoming much more intimately familiar with the latter.

My financial well looks like it might be too low now even if I could get my Manx done in time. Assuming I have to slow down so the "earning covers the spending" at least I will get to see all of you guys while I'm down in Baja with my early bronco guys.

It looks like it's almost ready, but I bet I'm really only 65% done (lots of the big stuff done, ton's of little stuff to go)....since I haven't run any of my electrical harness, no gauges, no fuel lines or tank set up yet, no master cylinder or brake lines, still waiting for delivery of the engine......its that last 20% of the project that takes the most effort. 8-)

I will also confess that as it pertains to fabrication and cage work, the guys that have helped have done good work and did things that I never could have and I'm grateful but my "budget expectations" were vastly unrealistic compared to the real costs so even if I can get this thing assembled before April I legitimately may run out of money.

Budget expectations? I didn't even set any because I knew I'd fail to meet them, I'm just selling everything else I can to cover costs as I progress.
