I am unable to post pictures here since the format changed (Ya, I know you guys have given directions, but it is all Greek to me) so I just posted a picture of our VCR's on The Samba http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewto ... 37#7844737 . I think you will be able to tell which "car" is Kathleen's. Tom

I like the "hidden wheels" on yours. Did not ruin a good VC.

Also, one of the sponsors is Rebel Wire and they have donated 2 wiring harnesses.

On Thursday or Friday, if you have a Rebel Harness in your buggy and would like your buggy in a picture for Rebel to use as advertising on their website, we will be taking a few pictures for them to use.

See me and we will pick a cool spot, like on the beach and get some good shots.

Joe - we have a Rebel harness in the "Beater" Manx that will be at the event. I installed it with a drop down panel so you can even see it and work on it. Tom

I'm getting ready to head to the OBX tomorrow morning so updates to this forum will be limited while the event is going on. Please keep an eye on the event website http://www.manxonthebanx.com for daily updates (BLOG) and pictures (in the 2015 Gallery). If you are unable to attend the event, you'll be able to live vicariously through the postings on this site. If you are attending the event you might see pictures of the fun you will be having.

See you on the Banx!!!

Hey. Where is everybody? It's 79 degrees F. here with a slight breeze off the water. Did I mention it's 7:15 PM.

Jon, good for you! Enjoy it for us.

I just finished buffing off the second coat of Mothers Wax, one more to go. Charging the radios, checking to make sure all power supply cords are in the buggy and spare batteries, washing "car" towels, cleaning supplies inventoried. Basically everything will be packed tonight and in the house garage.

Tomorrow I will take the dog to the Kennel first thing, then head to town to pick up Brian, Wesley and Jeffery and we will buggy onto the mountains of West Virginia for a fun run up and down the New River National Park Canyon. Drive over and under the New River Gorge Bridge, visit a couple abandon early 1920's coal mines and towns, visit an original Grist Mill, Make a off road run into the canyon and back to Charleston for Dinner with the rest of the BTTB crew.

Then home for me, quick clean up of the buggy, pack it and to bed.

Sunday we ride! Party on the OBX!
