Hi Guys and Gals,

A new event has been added to the 2015 Manx Club calendar here on the east coast of the USA; the first annual "Manx Over The Falls" will be held in the Buffalo - Niagara Falls area, New York, between Thursday, June 25th through Sunday, June 28th. Marc "Frizzy" Frisicaro is the event leader, and although the event is in it's early planning stages, he does have some exciting and unique venues in mind. Important "Manx Over The Falls" website update

I just received a link from the Senior Sales Manager for the host Hotel; Holiday Inn - Buffalo. This link allows for an automatic discount to be applied for those that plan to book a room during the "2015 Manx Over The Falls" time period. Can you tell me if there are a number of events scheduled for Sunday. I'm looking at departure days, wondering if most are departing on Sunday or Monday. Not sure if I can attend yet due to classes at work, but making preparations just in case, so I don't have to go last minute crazy if I can.

The only plans for Sunday are an optional farewell breakfast at the Holiday Inn , that morning .

Would love to do that Vince! No chance for a few years, unless I hit the lottery, and get retired. I've just been at my job for a little over a year, and don't have that kind of time off.

It's best to either refer to the Manx Over The Falls website or contact Marc "Frizzy" Frisicaro directly, he can be reached by phone, 716-602-4888, or by email, frizzy1164@hotmail.com. I purposely did not post the Schedule of Events here in the forum, since the final version will not be set in stone until a later date, and even then; allowances for the proverbial "Plan B" may need to be considered. Marc did inform me earlier today that he has reserved space at Gabrielle's Gate for anyone that plans to attend (please notify at registration if you plan to do so), and that the activities for Saturday night will be held in the Ballroom at the Holiday Inn - Buffalo.

2015 Manx Over The Falls

I've heard some of you might consider crossing into Canada while in Buffalo. While I have no influence on border crossing, I encourage you to make sure you get proper documents well ahead of your trip should you consider crossing into Canada. The easiest would be for you to have a valid Passport but there are other accepted documents (Nexus, EDL, etc).

I highly recommend you do not try to cross the border with any kind of firearms. Please double check your vehicle (glove box, under seat, etc) for 'forgotten' weapons before attempting to cross the border.

Travelers with Criminal Convictions, Including Impaired Driving: If this applies to you, please make sure you are aware of the restrictions. We're not going to judge you but know the facts and don't attempt to cross if you are going to have problems at the border. It's not that I don't want you in our country, it's simply that I wish everyone to have a great time at the event.

There's a parallel VW/Dune Buggy show happening across the river that week-end, perhaps some of you will want to drive by (time permitting).

I can confirm that if you have a DUI in the last 5 years they will not let you in (we have employees that travel into Canada).

One other thing to consider - if you are going to drive in Canada, you will need proof of Canadian coverage insurance. Our company said they would issue a certificate for that. Tom
