An original Manx bumper mounts to brackets welded to the shock tower so it will be well out of range of the tow bar or grease zerks.

They weld on to something i thought it was the beam it self.well i guess i need to get width and other info i dont want to paint beam find out i will have to grind paint back off.

The front bumpers Meyers sold back in '68 and the one they now sell both bolt to brackets that are welded to the lower beam.

As promised. Sorry it's a bit late. I had technical issues with my laptop. Image Please note that I have an aftermarket replacement beam and my zerk fitting may not be located in the same location as yours. You can see that the bumper mounting bracket is located inside of the bumper and if it were located on the outside it would interfere with the zerk.

Tom thanks for the picture. I'll tell you that looks like it is going to be real close to the brackets that bolt the beam clamps to the front end of the berrien chassis.

Happy to help Gary. It's all part of building a buggy. One step at a time. Solve one problem and another comes up. Keep at it and sooner or later it'll be finished. Really.
