License mounting

Post by Siggymanx33 »

I am looking to temporarily mount my license plate to my rear bumper cage. Does anyone know of a source for a half in strap with a rubber guard that I can wrap around my bumper tube. Strange question but I have what I need in mind but just do not know how to search for it?

Dave, That's how I my front plate is mounted to the bumper. I found a pair of them at the local Ace Hardware. You may have to check at your plumbing or electrical shop. These are for securing pipes to a flat surface also known as hangers. Good luck!

Don't truck trailers use a rubber temporary mount sometimes? Just a thought.
