Wine Country Casual – Chapter II




The Manx Club will again be at the Flying Flags RV Resort in beautiful downtown Buellton on


April 25th through the 27th, 2014.
This year will be three fun filled days.




For those who can come early, there will be activities on Friday, including the INAUGURAL ALL


WOMEN’S BUGGY EXCURSION

(Ladies ONLY as drivers and “gal pals”), R/C Electric Airplane


Flying, and other local outings. Friday afternoon, it’s check-in and camaraderie with dinner


on your own.

Saturday, our traditional Show-n-Shine and signups for our Fun Runs followed by an authentic


Santa Maria-style BBQ tri-tip & chicken dinner. There will be a WINE SWAP PARTY in the


evening, or hang out and socialize around a campfire.




Sunday morning, we’re up early for a short local run, but back in time to attend the awards presentation


and collect our raffle prizes.

Flying Flags will be handling our reservations this year
. If you need an RV space,


we have reserved 60 premium full hook-up sites for our members use. You will need to make your


RV space reservations directly through Flying Flags at 1-877-RVFLAGS! Mention “Connie Breedlove”


when you make your reservations. Please CALL the park – if you make reservations on-line, they


cannot guarantee that you will be with the group.




Local lodging is also available at a special rate of $115.20 per night (2-night minimum) + tax at Pea


Soup Andersen’s Inn for the first 15 rooms booked.




For THURSDAY check-ins, there is a lower rate of $69.00 + tax for THURSDAY night (only).


Call the hotel directly at (805) 688-3216 and let them know you’re with the Manx Club to receive the


special rate. Please note that your hotel reservation must be made on or before March 24th, 2013.


As of March 25th, they will release unreserved rooms to the public at the regular rate. So, please


act quickly by calling to secure your hotel reservations

Ok Manx Club Members, for those of you yet to register for Buellton, the flyers are in the mail!! You'll need to return them quickly, as the deadline is April 2nd so we can get event shirts ordered in time. Also, something new, the release form has changed with our new carrier, and it's on the back of the registration form. Please have everyone coming with you sign that before mailing it back.
