Manx on the Banx
I'm getting pretty excited....I'll be leaving Thursday 6pm from Philly going through the Eastern Shore of MD-VA arriving at the Nags Head Inn around 1-2 am? If anyone is taking that route around that time drop me a line. I'll be ready for some fun on Friday morning.
A few questions. Does anyone know how far the Brewery and the event on Saturday are from the Nags Head Inn?
Any idea on how far up the beach we are headed on Saturday and how long the cruise will be?
Low tide?
I'm looking forward too it!

We are planning to go to the VA line. I ran it yesterday and it is 11 miles. We may go back and look for the horses depending on the tide and how everyone does in the sand. (I do not intend to get stuck this time.) I will also have extra gas, a jack, some boards, a shovel, a tow styrap and my Dad on speed dial to come pull anyone out. They are at their house in Whalehead and I intend to bring everyone by to wash the sand off their buggies and for a bathroom break. Looking forward to seeing you here.
Hi All,
It looks like we are going to have good weather for the event lower 60's in the morning and upper 60's for the high.
I would recommend bringing clothes so that you can layer and take off
some when it warms up and put them back on later in the day.
Things to bring: Mosquito spray, sunscreen, hat, towels, wind breaker
and a beach chair for the bonfire. I would also bring a tire gauge if
you intend to go on the beach run.
It looks like we are going to have approx 55 people attending and about 20+ buggies.
It should be a great time!! Looking forward to seeing you all here.

Hi Dave,
Glad someone answered you. I tried twice earlier today but the forum kept eating my post.
Thanks,

I wanted to add that Tom (TJ Kustoms) will be installing one of his Sombrero (soft bikini type) tops at the Brewing Station on Friday. Anyone interested in seeing how this very nice, well made accessory is installed is welcome to check it out.

Cool, I have been wanting to get a closer look at one of those for the II.

Best of luck Bud and Sue, hope you get decent weather. Hopefully we get a chance to discuss our respective adventures over a few cold beers.rzeller wrote:13 hours and the adventure begins . Leaving the house at 6 am and hope to be there and in the buggy by 2pm. Watch for us.
