Ok so day 1 didn't go as planned, about 165 miles into the trip, just North of Barstow, CA while sitting in traffic on I15 heading North to Vegas. The Manxvair decided to stop running on me. I coasted to the side of the road and then had Lori Ann tow me with the Tow'd about 2 miles to a rest stop to attempt repairs. After replacing the coil and ignition module we confirmed we had spark at #2 plug, we had gas(at the carburetors, not me) but it would not fire to life. Thankfully we have wonderful club members and Michael Presley came from Barstow and towed me back to his house where we attempted further repairs with no luck. At this point we decided to leave the Manxvair home and our good friends and new club member Tim Ranstrom and his brother in law Hal brought us our truck and took the broken car back home.

We hit the road and arrived in St. George Utah about 11:00pm to meet up with the Landon's. I will now be chase vehicle to Lori Ann's Tow'd. Let's hope day 2 goes better!
