What is this towd-ish car? who made it?

It is called a Stripper. It is fiberglass body over a tubular like sand buggy chassis. It was made so body would come off and have just the steel tube chassis to;go play in the dirt. It does have a double hoop roll bar like the Tow’d.
Made by Chuck Beck and there was approximately 150 made.
The book “Dune Buggy Handbook” by James Hale has pictures and more info on it.
